The final Grand Tour of 2013 will see Vincenzo Nibali and Joaquim Rodriguez go head-to-head for the prized Red Jersey
Along with Rodriguez, the home fans will have several other riders to cheer on, including Alejandro Valverde, Samuel Sanchez and Igor Anton.
The Sky Procycling duo of Sergio Henao and Rigerberto Uran will also challenge for top honours in the absence of more established team leaders Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins.
The sprinters section of the Fantasy Vuelta rider list looks wide open, with no major sprint star on the start-line for this mountainous edition. Edvald Boasson Hagen could be the fastest finisher in the bunch, while Luca Paolini will want to repeat the great showing that he had at this year's Giro d'Italia.
It will therefore take a canny selection to get the best out of the 100 credits you have to spend on a team of nine riders.
